Sofie Ryan is off to a great start with her newest series "The Whole Cat and Caboodle" with a special black cat named Elvis as he helps his human Sarah Grayson solve a murder mystery and clear the name of a friend.

Sarah Grayson is the type of MC I love the read about in cozies. Sometimes a mystery reader has to take their MC with a grain of salt, not so with Sarah. She keeps everything in perspective as she runs her "second chance" thrift/refurbished shop, deals with her family friend, Maddie, accused of murder and her grandmother's best friends taking up the cause to prove Maddie innocence. Sarah takes all the strive without jumping to any conclusions but leads with what she knows and she knows Maddie and knows she didn't do it. She doesn't get drawn into danger and even with her grandmother's friends Liz, Charlotte and Rose (aka Charlie's Angels) they make sure to keep eve…

Jill Gardner has left behind the fast paced life as a lawyer and a marriage gone south to settle South Cove, California and open a book store Coffee, Books, and More. Things maybe slow at the shop but they are peaceful until, a sudden call from her dear friend, Miss Emily, things quickly go downhill. Miss Emily is receiving threats to kick her out of her home, Jill thinking to find out more about this and check on her friend find herself in devastated when she finds her friend dead. Dealing with the lost Jill has much more on her shoulders when Miss. Emily has named her, her heir, inheriting everything along with alot of trouble. Because Jill starts receiving her own threats along with pressure from the city and an outside builder wanting the house and the confirmation that Miss.Emily was killed. Now it's a race to find the killer before Jill is next on the list.

Audrey Bloom, co-owner of The Rose in Bloom along with her cousin Liv, create amazing flower arrangements for brides. Audrey uses the language of flowers to make specific bridal bouquets for each bride. With a record of each couple she's worked with still together. That is until someone shows up dead.

Audrey's ex-bff Jenny is getting married to the town heartthrob- Derek. Audrey is surprised at the couple but holds her reservations as she works on the arrangements. That is until Jenny comes to her with her own concerns and decides to break up with him. That is until Derek is found dead with the Jenny's bouquet. Now Audrey is picking up clues in order to prove Jenny innocence before the wrong person is sent to big house.
