My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It all started with a wager.

It's love at first sight for Lord Richard Hamilton when he met the lovely Miss Emma Grey. A well known rake he's finally love. So he thought life would get even better when he married his Emma. That is until Duke of Arden, Emma's Uncle, puts his foot down against the match.
Hearing all the Duke's praises falling from Emma's lips just makes Richard that more determined to prove how clever "he" is and have his cake to! Susanna builds up the growing romance between Elizabeth and Jack…
