Wedded Bliss by Barbara Metzger

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lack of sleep notwithstanding, I couldn't help but smile and sigh as I reach the ending of this fun little book. Barbara Metzger penned down a delightful Regency, with some very typical and not so typical situations that were very prominent in the time. Such as leaving your kids to be raised by someone else until of an adult age where they can take over the reins in the household, or groomed to take over their rank. In the case with Rockford and his two sons Hugo and Billy. A widower twice over, Rockford had his career to focus on and living the life of his rank. Never giving a second thought to his sons, until he goes to visit his youngest son and finds him not to be where he is suppose to be, but with a local widow!

Rockford meets his match in the widow Alissa Henning, whose taken in Billy to care for him with two boys herself, she can't truly believe he just leave his son in the care of elderly staff, while some of…

The Virgin Huntress by Victoria Vane

The Virgin Huntress by Victoria Vane

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Victoria Vane pens yet another wickedly fun novel with the Virgin Huntress. With the spoiled Lady Vesta Chambers trying to win over Captain Hewett DeVere let the sparks fly!
With Hew being pretty scarred inside and out, he has his heart set on the simple like, sadly things just don't go the way he plans as Vesta stands in the way.
I liked the very honorable Hew, and with a brother like "The Devil" DeVere, yeah, he pretty much the angel of the two. He takes his hits and just keeps on getting up when he lands in trouble mostly due to Lady Vesta's plots.
Vesta got on my nerves, the spoiled little brat but it only went to show what an amazing author Victoria Vane is as I had to keep on reading even when not truly liking a character!

Another fun and great addition to this series!

Unbuttoning Miss Hardwick by Deb Marlowe

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's been a long time since I became so fascinated by characters in a novella, Deb Marlowe created two heartbreaking characters, with their pasts that haunt them and weight heavy on their present. Living behind masks that protect them from the world. It's until them meet one another does the ice that encases their hearts slowly start to melt.

Chloe Hardwick hides behind her clothing and being helpful to those around her, as those who has cared for her has sadly abandoned her without showing her about love. On the other hand : Braedon, Marquess of Marland has emotional scars from his childhood that has case a dark cloud over his life that causes him to be cold to those, with his only passion of being a collector of swords. He finds "Hardwick" nothing more then someone who has helps him with his collection a efficient assistant and obtaining the cursed Skanda's Spear. As time passes Chole slowly…

Rane: Reviewing The Pleasure of Your Kiss by Teresa Medeiros with friend, and fellow sleep-deprived reader Erika!

Erika: It's Rane's fault. Seriously. She picked the book.

R:*takes a bow* This was our recent buddy read we both ended up really loving. TPOYK was my second book I’ve read by TM and while the first book I read by her: Yours Until Dawn had a not so great character development ending, not so in the case in TPOYK. This was a fast paced, romantic adventure with lots of sexy fun, plus if it turned out not so great at least I could share in my misery with Erika *bats eyelashes at Erika*

E: Does the eyelashes batting mean I haven't said thank you for choosing the book? *suspicious* Oh well, thanks my buddy! You made a perfect choice *hugs* I actually didn't know what to expect from the book since it was my first read by the author. I was surprised. TPOYK was a thrilling, exotic, and hilarious romant…

One Naughty Night by Laurel McKee

“Sexuality is half poison and half liberation. What’s the line? I don’t have a line. ”
― Lady Gaga

I'm a sucker for dark sensual and sexual romances. One Naughty Night gave, and gave me more with two characters that craved more out of life, and took their chances and that leap of faith to reach their goals.

Lily St. Claire and Aidan Huntington come from family with a long history of hate between them. One from a well known family of rising stars of the theater another from a great ton family. Lily grew up on the harsh streets of London and was adopted into the St.Claire family with open arms and lots of love. Her past still haunts her when an old enemy turns up and brings long buried pain with him.

Lily hides behind her proper mask, wanting to be free sexual as a woman, but her scars are deep as she witness her mother who was a prostitute. When Aidan walks into her life, the binds that chain her, are broken as she ca…
