My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Once upon a time…hmmm about a few days ago, Rane the reviewer beat back her reader’s boredon with a big helping of Lila DiPasque’s Awaken by a Kiss, now Rane loved the short stories so much, she quickly ran out ..well not really ran, more of rushed to the kindle store, and that wasn’t a lot of work let me tell you! But back to the topic at hand! She quickly picked up the second in this fiery fairy tales, and while she enjoyed each story..there were so weaknesses she couldn’t move on from….

Once upon a time, about a few days ago.. a poor reviewer by the name of Rane…was BORED! The horrors! The shame! For upon her mountain of TBR did she not find a single book that drew her. Book upon book did she toss aside woe is poor Rane! The poor reviewer was at wits end when she spied a book by a new author, with fairy tales retold in an erotic feel, my blushes! With the hope that perhaps a short story may cure her reader’s troubles Rane picked up the book and was quickly capture into each story, full of silliness, yumminess, sexiness and men who no doubt were part of Rane’s indecent dreams…
Each short story has women whom were so sure of themselves and men whom desired them, with a fairy tale twist each story left a smile on Rane’s face..(or it could be more indecent thoughts…)

The Nobleman and the Spy by Bonnie Dee, Summer Devon

The Nobleman and the Spy by Bonnie Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I first read the author duo of Dee and Devon with their amazing book A Gentleman and a Rouge. Much like their other work, I was captive by The Nobleman and the Spy, with it’s flowing style and characters that are attractive inside and out.

Like many of the romances, I enjoy the “romance”. Books with just sex are alright and all, but for me as a reader, I enjoy watching engaging characters fall in love with one another.
More so with the Nobleman - Karl von Binder heir to a great Count, and tried of being played as a pawn in his father’s gain to power. Now with someone out to want him dead, he puts his trust in an attractive Spy Jonathan Resse whom he doesn’t know if he can trust him not to shoot him when his back is turn or pull him in for another kiss.
Resse job is to make sure Karl stay in England is a smooth one, one where Karl doesn’t end up dead, but the attractive nobleman knows Resse from once long ago bl…

When Beauty Tamed the Beast by Eloisa James

When Beauty Tamed the Beast by Eloisa James
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Once upon a time..(looks at calendar) not to long ago. A reviewer named Rane picked up the second in a fairy tale series. Rane enjoyed the first book in the series, and looked forward to next, and thankfully wasn't disappointed or shed tears in her little reviewer corner....or write her displeasure in this review (saved her keyboard from the heartache of pounding keys!) And with joy Rane was able to bestow more stars along with others on this great little tale.

Rane, a true lover of the story of the Beauty and the Beast, and looked forward with glee at what this author had in store. The Beauty named Linnet was sassy and smart, with her beauty more of a curse then a blessing, and when gossip cast her and her family in dreadful shadow of doubt all that's left is for her to marry and quick, and perhaps fake having a prince's baby along the way for good measure! Of course this doesn't fool the foul-…

A Hearing Heart by Bonnie Dee

A Hearing Heart by Bonnie Dee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another enjoyable read by Bonnie Dee! Her characters always get me at the heart-strings and no one more so the Jim, whose had to deal with his deafness all alone in the world, until he meets Catherine a local schoolteacher whom not only saves him from some evil local guys, but starts to teach him sign.
Jim even though he couldn't speak, your able to get into his mindset early on and understand, while he may not be able to talk or hear, it doesn't mean he's not smart, he's very smart but just needs to be shown the way (plus he rocks at anything math and that's total brownie points in my book as I suck at all that is math) I loved and adore for him, and how true he was to his heart. He was so tender with Catherine whom he knew had more to lose then him. Which on one hand I to could understand and on another didn't as I felt while Catherine was a strong lead, hid away to much for my taste, then again perha…

Notorious Pleasures by Elizabeth Hoyt

Notorious Pleasures by Elizabeth Hoyt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It’s always a total joy to pick up an Elizabeth Hoyt book. Her characters always draw me into their world, with their emotions and what lurks behind the mask they wear, or what makes them tick. Hoyt’s newest series started off with a bang and just keeps getting better with Notorious Pleasures

Lord Griffin Reading is know to the ton and society as a rake with a lustful appetite, some shading dealing and rumors that fly around that cause no end of a stir for him. To add fuel to the fire, its well know that his brother and he are on hardly talking terms, and Griffin could care less! He laughs at the rumors and turns his back on all those whom turn their noses up to him for telling tales or just going by rumors. Because there’s more to Griffin this some scapegrace rake mask he wears. Of course, he doesn’t let on this to any, more so then to Lady Hero, who happens to be getting married to his brother, and he can’t seem to get…
